Gulgong via Wilbetree

This route takes a direct line to Gulgong via the scenic Wilbetree Rd. The 5km nearest Mudgee is on paved roads before crossing the Cudgegong River and hitting the unpaved section – and a nice 3.5km hill (with multiple flase summits) to get your heart-rate elevated. Continue northwards to Gulgond amonst the beatiful and scenic roads. Another hill just after the Reef Rd turnoff takes you over to Gulgong via the cemetry.

Enjoy a break at one of the pubs or coffee shops, before returning home via Canadian Lead (named after the Canadians who first mined golg there, before thousands of people moved in) and Wilbetree Rd.
